Spend a relaxing day in the idyllic Eifel countryside and experience our native game animals, like red deer, fallow deer and sika deer, up close and without being separated by fences. You can meet our moose and rare Hungarian Grey cattle too. There are over 300 animals waiting to be discovered at the 80-hectare Hochwildpark Rheinland. And if you don’t fancy exploring the park on your own, no problem: You can download our free “Lauschtour” audioguide app from the Apple App/Google Play Store from the comfort of your own home and be guided through the park by our audio guide. Or you can book a special guided tour with one of our animal caretakers. And there’s lots for the kids to do too: They can run around, climb and play to their heart’s content in our adventure playground with scooter track. Right next door, there are minipigs, pygmy goats, donkeys and other small animals waiting to be fed and petted. And when you’re ready for a break to process all the new experiences, you can take a timeout at one of our idyllic picnic areas. You can simply keep your provisions in one of the handcarts available for hire at the entrance. Or pay a visit to the Waldhaus Grill and enjoy the views of the small animal enclosure from the sun-drenched terrace.
Dogs are welcome in the wildlife park too and have the opportunity to get to know the wild animals at close quarters.
The park team wishes you an enjoyable and exciting visit
